Appliance Rebates
The Natural Gas Rebate Program is only for City of Thomasville Utilities Natural Gas customers. Eligible customers are: Single family residential construction or residential customers converting from alternative fuels. To qualify for rebates, the customer must install at least one (1) year-round natural gas appliance. Maximum possible rebate per individual address is $700.
Each customer must install at least one year-round appliance to qualify, and can combine/stack “seasonal” appliance rebate with $700 maximum. Rebates only apply to new installs and energy conversions.
Year-round appliances:
- Tank Water Heater: $200 or $350 for two (40 gal. minimum to qualify)
- Tankless Water Heater: $350
- Ranges/Cooktops: $100
- Dryer: $75
Seasonal Appliances (eligible if installed along with at least one year-round appliance listed above)
- Grills: $75
- Furnace: $250 or $350 for two
- Logs: $50
- Space Heater: $50
- Spa Heater: $50
- Generator: $50
- Gas Lights/Lanterns: $50
Financing Available
Financing is available at 0% interest and offers up to $7,500.00 to cover the cost of installing a new natural gas appliance, for up to 60 months. The loan is simply added to your natural gas bill each month.
